Mission and Vision

Vision: 

A community where every person, regardless of circumstance, has access to safe shelter and meaningful supports, where people experiencing housing insecurity are respected as part of the community, and where collective action ensures dignity and inclusion.

Mission: 

We are a collective of Strathcona County residents coming together in solidarity with those experiencing housing insecurity or in need of temporary shelter. We listen, learn, and work alongside individuals with lived experience, community partners, and service providers to raise awareness, share knowledge, and push for meaningful, community-driven ways forward that recognize housing as a fundamental human right.
